We'll be at the World this May and will be lucky enough to catch some of the Flower & Garden Festival. I've read up on it, and basically know what to expect... but I couldn't get a clear picture of what exactly the "Themed Weekends" are. We'll be there for the "Family Fun Weekend", and basically want to know, as a young childless couple, if we should avoid Epcot that weekend??

Can anyone shed some light???

Family Fun Weekend has some activities that families can do together, that relate to the Flower & Garden theme. But you're just as likely to find a family of six adults as you are to find a family of adults and kids. There won't be any more or less families at Epcot that weekend than any other weekend. And you definitely won't feel out of place as a couple with no kids.

Go and enjoy!

I second the motion not to avoid Epcot just because of the themeing on any given weekend. The 'theme' does not have a huge impact on the experience, unless you specifically seek out the activities.

Guests with children may take part in the special touches set up that weekend, but so will guests without children. Your Epcot experience will be wonderful, regardless of which theme runs while you're visiting. After all, we're all child-like when we play in Disney, aren't we? ;)
