flower & garden festival?

DH and I are thinking about making a trip in may....during the flower & garden festival. We've never been there at that time.....any info would be great. Is it busy? Tell me about the flower & garden festival. Thanks!

In general, May crowds are manageable. Weekends are busier than weekdays. Summer crowds start to trickle in on Memorial Day weekend.

This is when we ALWAYS go! DH and I love Epcot anyway, but with all the topiaries and flowers it transforms into a beautiful park! We go in early May and the crowds are minimal - the longest we waited without a fast pass last year was 30 minutes for TOT and Winnie the Pooh. Otherwise, it's pretty much a walk on (obviously with FP). And the weather is perfect, too. Highs in the mid 80s usually, but one day I think we did hit 90.
