In Blueball PA.
Went there yesterday. They opened a new scrap booking section. they had a scrapping section that I went to about a year ago. That was nice. but hated the way it was organized!
Now they created a room. Good size room. Huge selection of albums. Most albums I have ever seen in one place! Tons of paper and card stock. But must say I still hate how it is organized! Product lines weren't together! But did have some really neat embellishments that I never saw before! An unbelieveable amount of stamping INK! Finally found that green I wanted! :cool1: Plus embossing paste for brass stencils.
They had a nice cropping area too. But can't say that it was that inviting.
The prices were average. Not warehouse. But I would definately go back. SInce it is the closest big scrap store near me now. (unless of course Super Joann's is really good...opens next week! Will be there for sure!)
Another plus, shady maple (excellent buffet place) is right around the corner and then Vanity fair shopping outlet in reading is 18 miles away. So it makes for the perfect all day outting...which I did! LOL! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Fixed the location! Thanks Pirate's mate!

I was sooooo excited! I read that as Blue Bell, which is in MontCo right near the Community College that DD goes to every Monday night! It's Blue Ball! And I never, ever get out there without DH since his parents live about 10 - 15 min from Shady Maple.

And here I was going to be the nice, helpful wife & volunteer to drive the kids over this week! :rotfl: (We have to wait for them while they're at class - which is 2 hours long.) Oh well - I really don't need to spend any more money anyway. ;)

I live on the Ohio PA border and I have heard of this store from another message board.

Deb - at least if you went and spent money, I wouldn't be enabled by your goodies you got! Unless I took a real long road trip :)

:rotfl: That's true, but then how would I hide what I've bought from DH?!?! He'd be right there in the car with me! I've tried to get him to stop after we shopped at Shady Maple (the store, not the buffet) but he wouldn't. :( I thought it was only fair since we'd been buying the smoked chicken that he likes & several other food items we can only get there that he likes but I could care less about. :confused3 ;)

oops! Blue bell blue ball...get them all confussed!
Wow if my inlaws lived that close to there I would either force DH to stop. Or while visiting I would excuss my self and head out!
Lucky for me DH will stop at those places!

LOL Spinning - I thought I just read it wrong.

Well, I get along with my MIL fine now (not quite true 30 yrs ago) but I still don't drive over an hour to go visit her w/o DH! I did think about it this summer when DH was so busy, but changed my mind because FIL is always there. ;) Now him I still don't really like. I'm always nice, but sometimes it's awfully difficult! ::yes::

You know - maybe we should have a Scrapping DIS meet out there! We could shop 'til we drop & then head over to Shady Maple! And if we spent too much we could always just do the salad bar in the store's cafeteria! :rotfl: Actually I love their salad bar. Whenever we eat out there, it's the salad bar - except when we're on vacation. :teeth:

I just mapped how long it would be to get there. It said 7 hours!!!! Guess I would have to pass on the meeting thing :(

Wow that would be a long drive...
But if you wanted to have a nice long weekend.....LOL!
Actually there is a lot to see and do in that area! There is also another scrapbook store not too far from there! Plus you could go to Lancaster to the Strausburg Railroad, amish farms, more outlet shopping. hershey park isnt' that far on the PA reinesacne faire........Lots to do in good old PA! :earboy2:

I love this store!! Was just there Friday night. My DH and I went to Lancaster for the weekend for my birthday. I discovered the Flower & Craft Warehouse a few years ago, and go at least twice a year. It's about a two hour trip but well worth it. The new scrapbook section is unbelievable! Wow, so much stuff. I'm planning another trip the beginning of December, can't wait! :teeth: Here's the link: http://www.flowerandcraft.com/index.htm
