Flo's Breakfast going bye bye

Wow, I'm shocked at the love for Flo's breakfast on this board. It's okay, I guess, but really nothing special. And for so many people to lavish superlatives like "best theme park breakfast ever" is simply amazing to me. I can think of a half-dozen places at DLR alone that I prefer to Flo's, let alone the dozens of incredible breakfasts at WDW.

And to the people who said they think Flo's breakfast is superior to their lunch/dinner menu... wow. Just, wow.

True, but DCA doesn't have many good breakfast offerings. The only other place in Cars Land for breakfast is one of the Cones that has breakfast in a cup, or a cone as it were! Flo's was great for being able to sit down, the atmosphere and the view of RSR from the huge ceiling high windows at the crack of dawn. That may temper the memory of taste a little! :thumbsup2

Fair enough, allsaintsatx, but I much prefer the breakfast food at the Pacific Wharf bakery, Taste Pilot's, Ariel's, or even the Starbucks shop. And don't even get me started on all the superior breakfast locations in the hotels or DTD!

It's all about convenience for me. We like to get to Carsland during EE, which has been 7 am the last two times we were there. So we'd have something light right after we woke up before heading to CA. Then we'd hit Carsland and have a hearty breakfast at Flo's at around 9:30 am. Bummer.

Walk 100 extra steps and go to the Pacific Wharf Cafe.

I'm with you on this one. We had breakfast at Flo's once and haven't bothered since. We found it a disappointment in taste, quality, and price for what you get, even taking into account where we were. We actually really enjoy the lunch/dinner menu and the decent-tasting food combined with the atmosphere makes this a favorite repeat-visit counter service dinner place for us.

According to DL web page, starting March 24, hours are 11a-10p and there are no other morning hours going forward.
