Floridian style decorating

I'm in the process of buying my first home, and have had a (crazy!) idea that I would like to decorate the guest bedroom in a floridian style.

I've not even found a house yet, I was just talking about decorating and had a brain wave (I always end up linking any subject to Florida LOL!)

Has anyone else done this? Has anyone found any Floridian sytle furniture or bedding in the UK?

You know what I mean, pastels, pink, terquoise, big floral sofas, that pinky white pine etc Any suggestions?

Great idea, never done it but I've always wanted to get one of those Floridain style pictures to go over the fire place.
DW says it wouldn't go with the rest of the house; hence we still don't have a picture there.
