All awake by 5 and up at 6, takes a couple of hours to get DS1 up and out so since we were up early decided to go to Typhoon Lagoon as we haven't been for 5 years. Can't believe we got there for 8.30
miricale
think you would need to get their for extra magic hour to get a decent seat as most were nearly full
DS1 can't go into the water so was a bit worried he might be bored here, we came so that DS2 could enjoy himself and DH could goon the big stuff with him. but.............. DS1 got quite a bit into the wave pool with his wheelchair which was fab, made his and our day. waited here until just after lunch and headed to Walmart for food and straighteners for DS1 hair
went to the one down at the 535 and we were back up at SSR for 4.
All got showered and changed as we had a ADR for Raglan Road for 6. we took the boat taxi across to the Rainforrest side as we had plenty of time and walked round.
we shared starters, then I had the ham, mum had the salad, dad the stew!, DS1 the crouper fish, DH had a fish mixed dish and DS2 the chicken, desserts we had 3, mum had the apple tart (below) and 2 coffees and the total came to $267 , this was our dearest meal
and thinking back could have been the nicest
headed back via the west side ferry to catch the ferry back to SSR
