Floridays vs Buena Vista Resort and Villas

A little help for an overthinker!...please

4 men for a 3 night and 4 day golf weekend at the end of January. No kids or wife. We are trying to decide between Floridays and Lake Buena Vista Villas Resort. (We like the idea of 3 bdrm's instead of one of us old men sleeping on a pullout...and the snoring factor!)

Things we care about....
1. ease of taking uber to restaurants and nightlife
2. restaurants and bar on site
3. Good value

Love your thoughts and recommendations. We are still open to alternatives.

I once stayed at a 3 bedroom that was very affordable and clean called Hapimag Resort. Close to golf in Kissimmee.

Sadly, it doesn't fulfill requests 1 and 2 unless you consider Medieval Times "nightlife."

Of the resorts you mentioned, both aren't in hotbeds of entertainment. I would likely pick LBV because there is less traffic congestion there and its a faster, shorter ride to Disney Springs.

If you can keep hunting, I think over by Animal Kingdom would be the best area to stay because its close to Orange County National and other golf courses and there are a ton of new restaurants over there.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek has 3 bedrooms and a great location, but could be too costly depending on what you can find.

You could consider a house or condo in Windsor Hills.

For the past 5 years we have stayed at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista for our golf trip. It has standard hotel rooms, but everything else you could possibly want is walking distance. We go across the street to Miller's Ale House almost every night, and can walk to many restaurants. The pool area is great and so is the pool bar.

Love Floridays, but the bar (pool area) and food is basic and wouldn't consider it anything other than for a quick bite/drink.

But, the rooms are very comfortable and location is decent. Nothing is really within walking distance (except a Japanese Steakhouse). Value is very good to excellent.
