Floridays Orlando

I was thinking of booking into this resort for a weeek in Sept. Has anyone been there that might be able to give feedback??

Very good friends of ours have stayed at this resort 3 or 4 times. They love it. They have 4 children and book the 3 bedroom suite. It came highly recommended and we will be booking there when we go in September. I can't wait. It is rated #1 on tripadvisor and has great reviews.

AMAZING!!!

My husband and I got married one year ago in Celebration, FL. We originally had rooms booked at WDW (Boardwalk), but long story short, we just didn't have the money for decent rooms at a nicer resort...a bridesmaid's family had just stayed at Floridays and she recommended it, HOLY MOLY it was soooooooooo clean and the rooms were huge! Hubby and I loved that we could afford a huge room with a jacuzzi tub and it was just the best! My only negative is that we were in the far back building, parking kind of sucked and it was a little creepy with all of the maintenance vehicles and stuff. To be honest we never even used the pool because we were so busy with wedding stuff, but the staff was amazing as well!

We stayed there 2 1/2 years ago. I really liked it alot. We had a large group of us and the 3 bedroom villas were so perfect. They were clean, modern quiet and comfortable. We had a screened in porch that overlooked the water with fountains. The master bedroom had a jetted tub. There was a washer & dryer. It was close to a grocery store and not far to WDW at all. The pool was great the restaurant & bar area had good food & drinks. There was live music there also. I would definitely stay there again especially if we have a big group, the kitchen saved us money because we ate quick breakfasts & late night snacks before & after the parks.

We are there right now. We have the 2 bedroom suite. It is large, clean, and lovely. I am quite pleased and I am difficult to please. The kitchen has about everything you need minus food of course. There are several really nice outlet malls within walking distance. There is a Publix grocery and Walgreens also within walking distance. We have stayed on-site Disney and off-site as well and we will probably never stay on-site again. The pools are nice and clean. Seaworld and Aquatica are less than 5 minutes away. Ideal location for a Seaworld vacation.

We loved our stay at Floridays. It was so nice, clean, and I loved having a washer and dryer in the room. The pools were great, too. We had a great view of the lake and it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony. Great place!

I understand this resort is pet friendly. That could be a problem for my family with our allergies. Anyone know if they do a special cleaning after a unit has been occupied by guests with pets?

I just started tentatively pricing Floridays for October and so far nobody has beat the AAA price on their own website. Expedia packages with Air always work out to more per night (for 3 people at least). Reserving direct you also wouldn't have to pay in full up front like you would through most travel sites.

We have 4 nights booked in October, we are doing a slip stay with Disney(pop) I did a lot of research and the place looks great! We have 7 people in our party and it really was a great price compared to Disney. I really should just cancel the Disney part and stay at Floridays but 2 people in our party have never been to Disney and I want them to get the full experience staying on site too. It will be great with all the extra room.

my thinking--and it's worked out quite well for me over the past few years no matter where I travel--is to cut out the "middleman," a travel agency, so whether you use AAA or, in my case, expedia, good 4 you.

i've always received better deals through expedia, and i'm a aaa gold member.
Perhaps it depends on the airport you fly out of, etc.

I forgot to add--and this is the only negative with Floriday's: the resort does not offer free transportation from/to the airport, so unless you have a rental car, you will have to pay to get shuttled to the resort, unless you know someone that can meet you at the airport (which we were lucky enough to).

Something to keep in mind, but yes, Floriday's is an awesome place.
