Hi!! This will be our first Disney trip & I need help on what clothes/shoes to pack. What's the weather typically like??? I'm starting to collect things...rain ponchos, large ziplock bags, band aids, etc...

We were there that week in 2011 and we had great weather. It only rained one morning for a few hours. Other than that it was sunny and in the low 80s. At night it can get a little chilly so I would recommend packing sweatshirts/light jackets. It doesn't hurt to throw a rain poncho in your suitcase either, just in case there is a pop up shower. Enjoy! You've picked a great week to go to WDW!

Good call on sweatshirts! Thanks!! We're excited...kiddos don't know yet!!

Definitely bring the ponchos to be safe. Last yr was a rainy october. Sweatshirts light jackets and maybe some jeans. Just in case. We actually got cooler weather in sooner than usual last yr too.

That's our favorite time to go. It coincides with my birthday. I'll be there this year, too. :)

Days are hot. The mornings start out cool, but by lunch time you will be looking for some shade. Evenings are cooler. And be prepared for showers. Take along a big trash bag so you can spread it on the wet curb and sit down and enjoy the parades or spread it over a wet bench. Ponchos that time of the year are a must.

We wear sneakers for comfort, but spray them with waterproofing tent spray because Disney puddles can be deep and walking around with wet feet isn't fun. The spray waterproofs the sneakers. If you take a backpack, spray that, too. Heck, spray your hats... :)

You will be there for the Epcot food and wine show, so take lots of wet wipes for those sticky fingers. Enjoy! :)
