Is it pretty easy to travel of the turnpike? I have decided to go down I-75 and get on the turnpike then get on I-4. It is pretty easy? Are there any confusing turns that may get me lost?
This is good info to know. However, I have an additional question about the turnpike? I am correct in my understanding that this a toll road? And if so, how many tolls do you go through and what is the approximate cost per toll?
Florida's Turnpike is indeed a toll road. Coming south you'll experience one mainline toll plaza priced at $2.50. ($2.00 with Sunpass)
If you get off onto the new TOLL 429 Western Beltway and head south there is one additional mainline toll plaza priced at $1.00 for everyone. The Western Way entrance into WDW is labeled as "Disney World/Hartzog Road". This is the easiest way in if you're going to Disney resorts or straight to a theme park.
If your hotel is on International Drive or away from WDW then the I-4 exit may still be the best for you. In this case there is a $.50 toll on the exit ramp from the Turnpike onto I-4 for all users.
