Florida Tours

Just returned from a week at Disney and we used Florida Tours. IT was a great experience to have them pick us up at the airport ......we were met at the bottom of the escalator into baggage claim. Our driver was so nice to us and stayed with us as we retrieved our luggage and brought us to the car. No detours of going to other resorts ......one straight shot into Port Orleans French quarter. We were picked up at our resort to come back home and our driver was right on time and took us back with no worries of missing our flight ....and we had plenty of time to check our bags and go thru security.
This may be a luxury to some people. BUT TO us it was the knowing we would be picked up and delivered on time both coming and going to the airport and resort. Thank you so much for being such an efficient service.

I know some people will say. Oh this is because she is a moderator or because this company is a site sponsor .......NOT true. We have used Mears shuttle, another town car service, we have used ME too........this is an honest report of being able to trust the service we are using to get us where we want on time .......

I know what you mean. There are times I really enjoy having towncar service. It does seem a little less stressful to me to go back to the airport via towncar rather than ME on the return leg, but hey - you just can't beat free. Of course, it could be stressful simply because I'm going home. I'm a very strange bird. I like towncar, ME and renting my own car depending on what's going on. I haven't used FL Tours but thanks for the thumbs up on them.

we used ME this past December and it took us two hours to get from the LINE at the airport to the hotel........then on the way back, because our airline was a participating member of this .....we were able to check our bags at the hotel.....if we hadnt had that priviiledge we would of missed our flight because we got to MCO a half hour before our flight......we went thru security fast and ran to the gate. This was with ME and their 3 hour pick up....they were late and then took their time going to two other hotels.....this was not good and we were stressed......YES free is nice but I will save the extra money and put it aside to have the "luxury" of a towncar service....

How long did it take to get from the airport to POFQ? We're staying at POR, and planning on using floridatours instead of ME. Our flight is due in at 3 and we have a 6:40 ADR at CS at the contemporary, then fireworks at the MK at 9.... that should be do-able, right? Cause I just gave my husband a happy little speech about how well I've planned out our arrival day.

Did they call to confirm the pick-up times with you on check-out day? I know I won't relax and enjoy the day wondering if we will get left without a ride back to the airport. Talking to them that morning would help a little bit.

We have used Fl Tours the last 2 times we were at Disney and plan on using them again our next trip...they are a great company and very friendly and courteous.
