seasonal pass or the regular annual pass???? i know the seasonal has the blackout dates and its when the park is the most busy the time i do NOT want to be there..i just know there will be a time we forget to check the date lol...also trying to take into account the parking,,,we don't need the deluxe one since we never go to the water parks and we've already been to DQ..this will be the first time buying the passes for us i like that they have the cheaper one but now of course we are thinking of goin for the regular one

I would buy the Season Pass. That's what we've got. Like you said, I wouldn't want to be there on the blackout dates anyway - way too busy. Parking isn't an issue either if you are staying on-site, as you will still get free parking by being a resort guest. But if you're staying off-site, you'd have to pay $110 in parking fees to make up the difference. I can't remember if it's $7 or $8 to park, but if you're going to go more than around 14 days that year, then I guess it would make more sense to buy the Annual Pass, since you'd end up paying that much in parking fees. We usually stay on-site, so this isn't much of an issue to us.

You can always upgrade the pass if you find that you want to go during one of the black-out dates.

Parking is $7 a day.

You will be given an envelope that lists the blockout dates for the year you have your pass. If you have a calendar, it's pretty hard to come during a blockout without knowing. You can also call the passholder info line for blockout dates.

We have purchased Florida residents seasonal passes as long as we have lived in Florida, 7 years. We find it to be a great value, as we would also never go on the blackout dates. We are also DVC members and never go for the day without staying at least one night. Even with that one night, your parking pass will get you free parking on the second day. The $175 renewal,{this year and last, so far} is a bargain.

We just got the seasonal passes. I just couldn't justify the extra cost for getting the higher priced ones. My wife always complained about the heat when we would take our normal week vacation at the end of July or in August, so I guess those blackout dates won't mean much to me. I would presume we'll probably go down just before the blackout dates start and then again just after they are over.

The good thing about getting them is that we are going more often and will end up saving a ton of money on tickets. Of course, that will be balanced out by more resort nights that we are paying for since we are going more often. But, you just can't beat being at Disney!!!!!!

ok..we were thinking about also just getting one seasonal and one regular..since one of us is always driving...we got the universal passes and got ALOT of use out of them but regretted not getting the parking we were there once a week for awhile <hubbys parents live in kissimmee> you dont get any discounts with the regular pass do you? ie seaworld you get 10% off the gift store etc...that would probably be the only thing to make it worth while at this point

We've gotten annual passes for 10 years now, don't think we could go back to seasonal. I guess it just depends on your preference. We go for 4th of July and NYE often though. We also do lots of day trips, and rarely stay on property, so we like not paying for parking.

Jacksonville here too!! Actually we just bought our season passes for this year. I would never subject my two year old to the busiest times at Disney. That would just be a nightmare, on top of that I don't like it much either. And parking isn't that big of an issue for me.
