Let's all us FL residents keep a thread going for FL resident rates on tickets, resorts, etc and when those all become effective for various time periods. I'm mostly concerned with dates starting Jan 1 2008, but we should do this for anything current. How bout it.

To my knowledge no FL resident rates are out for January 2008 and forward, yet!. I did buy my FL resident 3-day play pass for $120 (adult) plus taxes, before the rates went up August 5. Tada! Saving $$$$ already.

Lets just hope the next batch of Fl Res rates are better than the ones that were just released for the latter part of 2007.

I figured about $100 for a mod room is what i'm expecting based upon past history. I think the Mod value rate in January of 2007 was $96.

Don't think so, but I am hoping for Feb codes to be better, want to stay at WL for my BD!:thumbsup2

Not sure if this is the place to ask but I'm sure someone here can help :goodvibes

We're planning our next trip for Sept. 2008 for my sons b-day. We're thinking that if they do free dining next year, our vacation may fall into the dates of free dining which would be great...until I started seeing room only codes for Fl residents and also knowing that we pay less for tickets...I'm wondering if it might be cheaper to do it that way instead of a MYW package with dining. Has anyone ever compared the 2 to see which one is cheaper?

I think alot of it depends on where you want to stay. We booked ASMu w/free dining. The room rate is $82 a night, FL rate is $64. So I am getting free dining for $18 for 3 adults (actually myself, DD21, and DD14). We will upgrade our tickets to SPs, which we would buy anyway.

I know the room discounts for December are pretty bad. I could save a whopping $12.50/night off my AAA rate at the Boardwalk Inn. Of course that's only if I don't mind moving the dates a week.
