Florida resident verification-what is acceptable

The Mousesaver site says included in the verifications that you are a Florida resident a utility bill showing the Florida address can be used (if I read info on Mousesaver site correctly). I recently spoke with a reservations CM who said a utility bill cannot be used. While I would think the CM would know what is accepted has anyone used a utility bill to purchase a seasonal pass or verify residency when checking in at the Florida rate. Thanks.

I know my parents tried to use a utility bill to purchase discounted tickets (they live in Florida in the winter, up north in the summer), but were told they needed a valid Florida ID.

You MUST have proof of residency.

*Florida College ID (if they still allow them)
*Drivers License
*Florida ID
*Military ID
*Passport


I know when I first moved down here I didnt get my new drivers license yet and I had to purchase an ID in Fla to get the discount.

this is a copy & paste from the offical Disney web site:

Proof of Florida residency is required -- you must provide any one of the following:
* Florida driver's license
* Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
* Florida voter's registration card with corresponding picture ID
* A college ID for a Florida college
* Florida-based military ID

Passes are non-transferable, are only valid during regularly scheduled operating hours and exclude activities / events priced separately.

basically, you now need a pic ID... so utility bills will no longer work.... I think Disney did this so that the part time residents couldn't use the FL Resident Discounts.

Part time residents can obtain a snow bird driver's license and receive the FL resident discounts.

I think they did it so you couldn't just take a piece of paper and say it was your utlity bill. Let's get real with a decent PC I could MAKE a utlity bill.
