:cutie: Does anyone have a clue as to when the summer Florida Resident rates for Walt Disney World resorts are posted. I somehow always seem to miss them and by the time I get to them there are no more available rooms for those rates.

I'm wondering the same thing. Also, does anyone know if Disney typically offers specials on park hoppers for residents. I'm going for 2 nts. with a Fl. resident. I already have my tickets, but they haven't gotten them yet. She was hoping to find a deal like, free upgrade to hoppers or something like that. Is that even a possibility?

Last year FL Res deals for summer:

Check ins between 4/23/06-6/3/06 Florida resident room-only rates became available on 2/23/06, exp 6/3/06
Check ins between 6/20/06-8/5/06 Florida resident room-only rates for selected Deluxe & DVC resorts became available on 6/8/06, exp 8/5
Check ins between 7/5/06-8/5/06 Florida resident room-only rates for selected Deluxe & DVC resorts became available on 5/18/06, exp 8/5/06
Check ins between 8/27/06-9/30/06 Florida resident room-only rates became available on 7/17/06, exp 9/30/06

*There were also other deals besides FL Res for these dates (AP, etc.)

I don't think I've ever seen any ticket deals for FL Res beyond the 3 day Play Pass @ $120 per adult- you can add hopping to that. But I could also be wrong as we usually buy the FL Res AP or seasonal passes so I don't keep up with the other options too well :cutie:

Thanks! I'll check out that link. (your picture of your cat is adorable!)

Just keep in mind that the Florida summer rates were like the AP rates and when it said delux and DVC. It meant that the only thing available for Delux resorts at the EPCOT area (BW/YC) and SSR and OWK. There were no discounts June and July at the monorail resorts/MK resorts. And no discounts on value or moderate resorts. I can't remember about the campgrounds. So if this happens you might want to go ahead and book the resort you can afford to pay at full price just in case there are no discounts (or hardly any) like last summer.
