I was told that during a certain time of the year Florida resident Ap's are offered at about half off. Wasn't sure if this is true or not. And do Florida residents get a larger room discount than traditional AP holders? We're moving to Orlando in May and any information would be helpful in our decision as to when to purchase our Florida resident AP's. Thanks!

Maybe you are thinking about the Florida resident's seasonal AP. This is an AP that only FL residents can purchase. It has blackout times. Usually the holidays are blacked out and the entire summer. Check this website as they will have the prices listed for the Florida seasonal pass. As for the room rates, FL residents and AP holders are sometimes the exact prices, or sometimes the Florida resident's rates are a little higher (like this Feb. Value resorts are $59 a night for AP holders, and $64 a night for Fl. residents). AP holders usually are always the lowest rates of the two. BTW, you can't combine the two discounts (FL residents and AP holders) you have to choose only one--which would be nice, but will never happen. Hope this helps.
