Florida Resident Rate Speculation (August)

Are Florida resident discount generally offered in tandem with AP discounts? To the best of anyone's knowledge, how often is it that Disney does not release Florida resident discounts around the same time as AP discounts?

We are planning a trip sometime later in the summer, and I may go with the July offer, but I was just wondering on the off chance that an offer in August might apply to more resorts.

Maybe I'll just do AAA. Thoughts, anyone? TIA!

I don't know what their policy is, but my personal experience has been that the two discounts are usually identical even if they don't update them on the website. That said, everytime we call to book something, I tell them I qualify for both and the result has been about 50-50 in availability. Based on my experience, I think each program is allotted a certain amount of inventory if any at each resort and they do not take AP inventory to give to FL Res inventory or vice versa. A visit in July is or Aug is really a crapshoot as you will have volumes of both AP's and FL Res visitors.
