So my Aunt is a Florida resident....she wants to go to disney with my 3 dds and myself in November. She wants to do a Florida resident AP for herself and says she can do the same for my girls because they are kids....my dh and I are taking our girls back in August 2015 so they would get used....

My aunt seems to think she can do this but I say there is no way because they do not live with her in FL....

Please point me in the right direction with this....THANKS!

How old are the girls?

My girls are ages 8, 9 and 10 (will be 11 on our November trip)

Fl resident relatives of young children can buy FL Resident tickets for those kids.

The FL residents must be there when the kids use those tickets.

and this is the one reason that would tell me not to do it. What if for some reason you don't want the Aunt there with your family every day in 2015 OR she can't/won't come.? Truly something to think about.

Yeah, my aunt will ONLY be with us on the November trip...she had wanted to do the APs as Xmas gifts knowing we would be back in august. I insisted that it couldn't be done and she says otherwise! Ugh, don't want to cheat the system in any way but don't want to pass up a great opportunity either....

It wouldn't be cheating anything as Robo pointed out but it will useless for the 2015 trip unless she goes too. Nice offer though, tell her she was ALMOST correct :thumbsup2 Perhaps she can help pay for any tickets you do end up getting as her gift.
