If I am using a Florida college ID as my proof of residency, how does this work? Do you just show your college ID, or do they scan it? Is that the only proof I need, or does the DL have to also be FL?

You can use your college ID and don't need a FL drivers license to get the FL resident discount. They will look at the FL college ID--they don't scan it.
