Florida Resident Discounts

My neighbors just moved to Florida yesterday and they want to meet up at WDW in October. They are trying to do it the cheapest way possible. We are staying at ASMo from the 18-25th, but they will probably stay four days. I have read about the four day pass for I think it was $109, but it doesn't look valid for those days. Do they offer any other discounts on park tickets and rooms for FLA residents? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The Play 4 Day pass expires on September 30. There are Fla. Resident discounts on seasonal passes and annual passes. Usually there are room discounts as well but there are not any out for that time period yet, unless you have a Disney Visa (there is Fla. Resident Rate if booked with the Disney Visa).

The Official Walt Disney World Resort web site has a section that has all the FL resident info they need. In addition to discounted tickets they can also purchase the Disney Dining Card. That will get them 20% off meals at participating resturants & food courts in Disney World. I am not sure of the price on that ...it has just gone up. I want to say it is $75 and $70 for pass holders. I know it was $60 to renew (just mailed mine yesterday).

We bought a play four day pass last fall which was good until 11/17. They may have that deal again this year. It was $109.00 plus tax. They really should look at the seasonal residents pass. It's around $200.00 (it does have black out dates when you can't use them - mainly very crowded times) We were able to upgrade our 4 day passes to seasonal passes for only around $80.00 each. We did use our Disney Club discount. Our seasonal passes have paid for themselves many times over!!
