My mom is a Florida resident and I have an AP. I was wondering if anyone knew which is usually the better discount, Florida resident or AP?

If my mom comes with us on our next trip I could book a room for her (and us) with my AP but she could not book a room for herself and us with a Florida discount, is that correct? A Florida resident would have to be in both rooms I think, but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

AP discounts are better - have been for a while now.

I am a Florida resident and have an AP. I always thought they were pretty much the same. If you look on Mousesavers right now the discount codes for AP and Florida residents are exactly the same.:)

I always had about the same also - BUT I've found that sometimes FL Res rates will be available when AP rates are sold out and vice versa, so it's always good to check both ways :goodvibes

My upcoming trip AP rate at POP is $59.00 per night, FL resident rate is $64.00. Those are the same rates I got in Dec. Only $5.00 difference but it helps!

Fl res can book up to 3 rooms. they have to be staying in one of them. We did it this way 2 yrs ago with my parents. They were also able to seperate out the rooms so we could charge tot the room indiviually. ( I wanted Daddy to pay for my charges though, LOL)

AP discount allows you to reserve up to 3 rooms as well. For the most part AP tends to have better rates but this current round of discounts for 2/15-3/30 is the same for AP and FL residents
