If I renew my annual pass and choose the select annual pass. If I change my mind a month or so in and want to change to the full season annual pass will they let me upgrade to that pass by just paying the difference like they do with any other upgrades?

Yes.

But, it will only be valid through the same anniversary date as the first AP you were renewing.

Don't fall victim to Disney's spam. I got the following spam from them:

Pass Expiration: 08/29/2015
Passholder Savings: $106.50
Pass Type: Annual
Renewal Price: $590.01
Renewal Price Valid Through: 09/28/2015

Yet when I go to their website an annual pass only costs $529. Some savings.

Is that your resident AP exp date?

Why do you feel like it's spam?

Spam or SPAM commonly refers to:

  • Spamming, unsolicited or undesired electronic messages
    • Email spam, unsolicited, undesired, or illegal email messages
    • spam messages, unsolicited, undesired, or illegal messages in general (private messages on websites, sms, messenger etc...)

You seem to have an AP and I assume would want renewal info, otherwise you would have changed your subscription settings.

It seems to show normal AP renewal rates in the email. Which you didn't even pay up front and won't pay now, assuming you are still a FL resident.

That 590 rate is a normal ap with tax included.

529 seems to be the normal resident ap cost PRE tax.
Resident AP renewal seems to be 478ish with tax per allears.

There would have been no falling victim. Sign into your account with your "25 miles" away zip and the fact that you're renewing and your rate would have been waaaay less than that 590. How is that bad?

If you had moved. Would you
I have told them endlessly I don't want to receive email from them but they never stop. This is the second time in the last week I got the same email. There is no place to opt out. They call it service related and think they are doing me a favor. They are only trying to screw me into paying more for an AP than is necessary. That is not the normal price.

Thanks everyone. I had my FL residents pass for 2 years and the blackout dates do not effect us as we don't go during those times. I was just wondering, since my brother is now stationed in Jacksonville and the kids cousins are closer now, if summer becomes something we may want to do would we still have the option to change the pass at a later date. Thanks for the info.
