Hi

I know that this has been discussed before but I am hoping to hear from people who have actually booked \ travelled with Florida R Us.

I got quotes for this summer just as an initial enquiry (We are going next summer but when I e mailled Florida R Us no one was quoting for Aug 2004)

They quoted by far the best package deal with flights \ car hire \ 3 weeks in a villa no more than 15 mins from disney at £653 p.p for 6 of us.

Anyway, I saw ages ago some debate as to whether they and sky deck are the same company but have not seen many posts about actually travelling with them.

Sorry this was a ramble, just wanted to check them out before booking when their Aug 2004 prices come out.

Regards

They have an abta logo and number on their site, I think i will check this out with abta - there must be some way to check. They seem properly organised and efficient but i guess you are always a little cautious with companies who are not so high propfile.

I looked on the ABTA website and they are indeed listed as ABTA bonded agents.

I am still interested in hearing from anyone who has actually travelled with them though.

We used florida r us . We booked 2 weeks over xmas a couple of years ago. We flew with continental 777 to florida stopping at new york (so we stayed the night all arranged by fru)
Can't fault them at all . Would of booked with them again only tcd were cheaper this time but would not hesitate to go with them again.

Hi

I've booked with Florida R Us (although documentation comes under a different name - Florida R Us is just a trading name) and, as you can see below its not till we depart. So far its been a bit of a mixed affair as when I first booked they got the wrong dates and when I got back to them the flights werent quite as convenient.

NOTE - they quote as if the flights are direct but they all connect as they seem to use American Airlines or Northwest.

I was asked to pay early as they said AA had said that they would impose a surcharge unless payment was received by mid-April and at this point I checked them out with ABTA coz I didnt like the sound of this!

ABTA confirmed they are fine - they have apparently traded since 1999 with no complaints to ABTA so this is reassuring.

Since then I've been waiting to get the tickets (promised in Mid-May) and I spoke to AA today who said that there will not be any tickets as they are now all electronic!!

So there you are - good price, slightly iffy service, but as long as they get me there I'm happy. Oh, and they arrange for me to fly into Orlando and out of Miami with no problem whereas a lot of other companies I spoke to seemed to think this would be difficult.

Hope this helps!!!:D :p :D
