Florida Question - Any Locals?

What are some good towns near Orlando if one is looking to relocate?

It would be nice to be close to WDW but not in Orlando. I'm thinking 20-60 minutes from the property.

How are the following towns?

Clermont
Ocala
Winter Haven

Any other towns you know/recommend?
How are the schools? Class sizes, sports and music programs, academics?

We have a house in Celebration and just love the town. It's close to WDW and has great schools. I've heard Clermont is very nice too. Good luck in your search!

Ocala is more like 90 minutes from WDW. We're 55-60 minutes, but we're in a retirement community and the areas around us are either very rural or probably not what you're looking for. Central Florida is growing at a fast pace and there are a lot of communities to look at. There are some regular posters in the Clermont area, which is probably closer to what you're looking for.

clermont is nice and fairly cheap to live in.
You can also go into east orlando it about 45 from everywhere =)
i have lived in east orlando for over 20 years.
depends on what you are looking for.

408,417 are nice. 429 going clermont,eustis is also nice area
