Florida Orange Juice - see it made?

OK - we'll be there in the height of the citrus season - where can we go to learn about citrus and maybe see a grove, walk in the grove? see the orange juice plant, etc. Something fun and educational is our goal. Kids are elementary school so it can't take too long...

Try this http://www.floridasnatural.com/visitorscenter.asp It’s the Florida's Natural plant. We didn't visit it because of the lack of time, but we drove by it when coming back from visiting family in December and it smelled heavenly!

We did the tour referenced in the previous post, and its a video tour, not a tour of the processing facility. It was fairly well done, but a tour of the actual plant would have been better

If you go west on Hwy 192 from Disney property, it deadends at Hwy 27, go north about 4 or 5 miles, on the right hand side there is Showcase of Citrus. While they don't have an orange juice plant there, they will give you a map of the groves, tell you what kind of fruit is in each section and you can go out and pick your own. They also had a cooler case when you first went in so you can taste all of the different oranges and grapefruits to see what you like first. In April and May you can also pick your own peaches!
