Does anyone know what % the Florida Meal Tax is? Thanks!

The general sales tax, which includes tax on meals, varies within the State of Florida depending on the County. The basic tax rate is 6.0%. Counties are able, by being on a general election ballot, add a tax of 0.5%, 1.0% or 1.5% to the state rate.

Orange County, which is most of WDW has a 0.5% add-on, so the tax rate on purchases and meals is 6.5%,

Osceola County, which includes All Stars Resorts and the Wide World of Sports, has a surtax of 1.0%, so purchases, including meals, are taxed at a 7.0% rate.
