Wanted to share the work done by an artist and photographer from the Florida Keys...

A friend of ours who is the Program Coordinator for the Down syndrome clinic at Children's Hospital in Boston and is the mother of a 14 year old son with Down syndrome posted the following on Facebook yesterday.... "talking to Isaiah (her son) about my day. I tell him about kids, etc. Told him one mom was pretty sad and crying. He asked why. I told her that she is upset since her baby has DS and she is worried. He said "Oh, that's too bad. Well, next time just tell her not to sweat it, it's not the end of the world"

Not only is it not the end of the world, its the beginning of a whole new world that many people aren't lucky enough to see. Individuals like Cinnamon prove that every day.
Some people wear glasses, some people have hearing aids, some people can't walk, some people have an extra chromosome.
I hope this brings a smile to your face today. I know I smile every day because of people like Cinnamon and my daughter, M-E.

On a side note re: the article and Isaiah's comment, I wish more people would have a similar attitude. I hate when people just initially short change someone with a disability, without even having a clue as to what they are talking about. I think you are truly blessed because of M-E and she helps you to see the world in a whole new perspective!
