Florida in July

We will be going to Orlando this July 9-20. I know it will be hot, but what about bugs? What is there for bugs in Florida in July and how annoying can they be? Thanks

We go every year in July. Beware of the heat. It doesn't bother us so much, I guess because I LOVE the heat. Hot & humid is the best way to describe it, with an afternoon rain shower EVERY day. THe showers last for either a few min. to maybe a half hour. Then it cools down for a short while, only to get hot & humid again. As for the bugs, thankfully I never had any problems with them in July. I sit out on the balcony late at night and so far never a problem. BUT, we just got back during easter break & those noseeum bugs, or whatever they are are VISCOUS. They got me one night, I woke up to 37(yep, I counted) bug bites on my leg. It was enough to almost ruin my visit. They itch way more than your average mosquito and til this day, I still have some little marks as a reminder. But, as for july, we've been going down for the last 6+ yrs. & they never got me then. Bring bug spray, just in case.

We have been going down in July for several years now and the only buggy area seemed to be any minerature golf place at night. On property and off.

Our last two trips and the upcoming have all been in July and the only place we were bothered by bugs was at FW for the campfire sing along. No where else did we have any issues that I can remember.

We've gone in summer and have never seen any bugs on WDW property. We did stay offsite and saw some palmetto bugs though - those hotels don't have pixie dust bug spray like WDW.
