This may be a shot in the dark, but I am considering booking the 'Rawhide Roundup' for my wife & I at The Ranch at The Florida Eco-Safari & wondered if anybody had actually experienced the cattle ranching?
If you have done...I am a none-rider (my wife has her own horse) Do you think I would be up to it?

Thanks in advance.

If you are a non-rider, a half day in the saddle may restrict your enjoyment of the remainder of your holiday ;) or at least force you to be on your feet more than planned LOL

It may be wise to check your travel insurance to see if you are covered for this type of activity.

It is a great experience, but very tiring for a full day and you WILL feel the strain on a particular part of your anatomy!! I remember doing just a couple of hours and feeling pretty raw afterwards. Be sure to wear the softest clothing possible in the crucial areas, and make sure you do get regular breaks to stretch your legs. Also, this is not the kind of thing you want to be doing in summer - it is just too hot and uncomfortable. If you are still up for it after those warnings, you should be ready for a memorable day!
