florida discount pass for DVC owners-

As I'm reading another thread on this board, I am wondering if anyone has ever "officially" petitioned the DVC about a PHP for DVC owners that would be similiar to the discount Fl. residences get? I know there have been and are discounted passes for us- mininmal if you ask me- and it seems to be addressed alot on these boards- does anyone think there would be any power if we were to put together a campaign for a DVC park pass? Just wondering- I'm a newbie , so I am totally unfamiliar with how Disney is with listening to their guests on things like this!

We have been asked not to mount any "campaigns" using the DIS boards.

I think many members have expressed to DVC their desire for a better pass. They came up with the crazy 5 Year pass as a response....that went over like a lead balloon. It never hurts to let Disney and/or DVC know that you would like to receive a better discount.

It comes up just about every year at the annual meetings. DVC management is very much aware that members would like better discounts on park passes. They (Disney) just do not think it is in their best interest to offer us any beyond what we already have. In other words, they do not think offering pass discounts to DVC members will increase their revenues. Until/Unless that changes, it won't matter how many members ask for discounts. JMHO.
