I currently have a DVC contract at BLT and currently live in Florida so I get the Florida annual pass discount rate.

If I add my parents names to the deed, would they likely get the opportunity to get a Florida pass?

I don't think so. I responded in the other thread already

Only if they reside or own property in FL. Owning DVC does not allow someone to qualify for FL resident rates.

I live in FL and have the FL annual Sorcerer pass, but I don't believe there are "discounts" per se for FL residents (there are discounts for certain 3-4 day tickets sometimes, like they have in Southern CA). You're not getting the same pass at a lower price. There are cheaper, more restricted, passes available just to to FL residents, but the Sorcerer pass is also available to DVC owners at the same price as a FL resident.

The main difference between the DVC and FL Sorcerer passes is that the "FL version" can be renewed online, which makes the renewal process easier, especially for those over 18.

Moreover, FL residents can also buy the Pirate and Pixie dust passes which are not available to DVC owners or residents outside of FL. But those cheaper passes do come with more blackout dates, so it's not really a "discounted pass" with the same privileges. It's more like a very or highly restricted pass (e.g. no holiday days/weeks, or only non-busy weekdays) at a lower price.
