Florence SC?

Has any one stayed there for an overnight on the way to Disney. Just looking a cheap clean hotel with a pool to stay for the night . I see they have many hotels, the motel 6 is $45 a night.

We have stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Florence.
It is very clean with a small outdoor pool, however, it may be more than $45/night

I also recommend the Country Inn and Suites in Florence. One place to avoid in Florence is the Fairfield Inn. Converted from another chain with outdoor corridors and rather run down.

We just stayed at the Fairfield in in Florence. We were on the top floor which was indoors and required your key to enter, so the security seemed pretty ok. Honestly Im easily skeeved out, so Im not the best judge. It is an older place (espcially compaired to the brand new first night open disney resort we had just come from), but it seemed pretty clean. The towels survived the hold up to the light test well, but the pillows were so flat, I wondered how old they were. The free breakfast was pretty meager, but the friendly owner-operator was very nice and brought anything that we asked for.

It is a good exit with lots of food, a mall, and TARGET!

I also stayed at the Country Inns in Florence on the way home from WDW. It was very nice and there were several eating opportunities nearby.
