floral wands....

Here is how my MOH carried it (sorry so blurry, it's the lo-res CD) kind of like a regular bouquet. I did not get any streaming ribbon on her wand, it seemed more "adult" to not have the streaming ribbon.

And here we are for the formal pictures - gosh I forgot how perfectly those roses matched her dress!!

I did a search on the boards for rose wands and here are a couple pictures I came across of what other people have done.

Here is an example of another rose wand:

That was my rose wand from my sister's wedding last year. I thought it would be too "babyish," (I was 27 at the time of the wedding) oh but when you see them in person they are knock-your-socks-off gorgeous! We loved pretending they were our magic wands, with all the pretty pixie dust it's hard not too They had us hold them just as we would've a regular bouquet--down by our belly buttons. There were six roses, with pixie dust, and tied like my sister (the bride's) bouquet. I believe that when she ordered it, they itemized it as a toss bouquet. Hope this helps! I LOVED mine

J&J - thanks so much for the pictures of your niece hold her wand. This is exactially what I wanted to see. I was afraid they would look to small for an adult and that the stem portion of the wand would be too long but it is not. I agree about the streaming ribbons looking to young. I have seen the original picture of your niece befor on these boards and I just loved her wand - especially with all the ribbon around it. I think she looks just like you in the picture of the two of you together.

I also love the picture of the little girl with the wand. If I end up with a flower girl this would be my choice.

oooo great pics everyone!!!! so nice to have an idea of what the finished product looks like!!! I have my appt with floral tomorrow hopefully the price hasnt gone up anymore than it already has i agree about the streaming ribbon!! I will prob get it for my neice but without for the other girls!!!
