Floor suggestions at AKL?

Is there a floor that's more preferable than another for animal viewing? How about a quieter trail recommendation? Sounds like the Zebra trail is very popular. Think I'd prefer something in a less busy location. Walking isn't an issue. Any recommendations for a quiet trail? Thanks!

From what I have read...most recommend the 2nd or 3rd flrs..something about being "eye level" with the animals. I've only stayed on the 2nd flr and the view was amazing. I'm staying concierge this time and I'm concerned about being on a higher flr. My DH did comment he would like to be higher up so we will see...I'll let you know in about 3 weeks!!

I think that either end of the Zebra or Kudu Trail would be the quietest but a loooong walk! LOL We stayed on the 4th floor of Kudu and while viewing was fine (and I'd say the higher the better), I'd prefer the 3rd floor to be on the same level as the lobby. There is only one elevator in Kudu Trail and it was very busy! We took the stairs a lot and I know that is just not an option for some.

Zebra Trail is closer to the pool, restaurants etc so maybe that's why it's more popular and I noticed they had two elevators!

We stayed on the 4th floor Kuda trail & 2nd floor Kuda trail. I really loved the view from both levels. yes on the lower level you were more "eye to eye" w/ the animals. But on the 4th floor you can see so much more. We really liked being higher up. There are so many great places to view the animals from a lower level. But all views were great. I still felt really close to the animals on the 4th floor. If we had to pick we would definately pick a higher floor. Hope it helps.
