Does anyone else have any flooding on the roads near them??
I've just had to do the scariest bit of stunt driving in history- There were 5 small floods en route to pick Robert up, but one HUGE flood that took ten minutes to drive through where water was gushing out of a field. As I drove I could feel my tyres slowly lifting up off the road and I was TERRIFIED!! I refused to drive home the same way.....

, we havent had much rain today and Ive managed to get most of the washing dry outside. Our town is built on a big slope and we live at the top so if we were flooded the rest of the town would be totally undercover. Although about 30mins drive from us is Hull and they were really hit badly by the floods last year. I remember a delivery man telling me when he arrive home one night he turned into his street and kids were playing in canoes - really. Some of the people there are still living in caravans a year on.
The bottom of our road here is terrible for flooding in heavy rain *** it's a slope, the fire brigade have had to come and pump it quite a few times.
