I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere before, but I can't find anything. Are you allowed to bring floats and child lifejackets to the DVC pools? We will be at SSR for 1 week then over to AKV for 1 week in May '09. Our boys will be 5 and 2 then and I'm wondering if I should pack a pool float and life jackets for them.

Thanks!

disney has them. just go ask the rental place - you don't pay for these - they are just stored there.

They are nice and soft life jackets, my kids liked them so much I had to buy them their own.

SSR go to Horsin Around to check out the life jackets. It's great because you get to keep them for the time that you are there and then just return them on the last day of your stay. We did this for our 4 yr. old twin grandbabies in early Sept. and there was no discussion about using them. They would just go get them out of the closet when we were getting ready for the pool and we put them on before going to the pool. Life vests were the type that you would find used in marinas and had the strap around the chest as well as under their bums and then hooked in front. Not sure about AKL but I'm certain someone can direct you to the location for their checkout.
