I got our excursion booklet. Do we really need to reserve floats/tubes now or can we do that at Castaway Cay? I am assuming although it says ages 5 and up that the younger kids can hang out on them with us. Also, are there life jackets for the kids to use for swimming or should we bring from home?
Thanks
You should bring your own life vests, but there should be plenty of floats to rent when you get there. Just an FYI: the tubes are really big. My DS 8 had a hard time hanging on to them. The floats are the soft foam kind. Neither is particularly fun for kids. We've brought a small inflatable raft each time (under $10 at Target and KMart). Seems to be more sturdy and fun.
Another hint.....by afternoon there are several tubes and floats just abandoned....people don't bother to bring them back to where they got them ....they are there for the picking!!!
