Floam - Where to get this?

I saw it at AC Moore today.

We don't have AC Moore's around here but just out of curiosity how much is it there and do they have a variety of colors?

I saw it at AC Moore. A small tub is $7.99. I'm guessing it is the quart size. I think it is very expensive.

**Anybody have any ideas where to get the styrofoam beads used to make floam?

I was at our Walmart last night and they had a whole display of floam (all kinds of colors too.)

I bought 2 tubs at Target about 2 weeks ago - they had 6 colors, hot pink, neon green, purple, white, neon yellow, and a bright blue. I believe the price was around $6.99 for 1 tub of it. About 2 seconds after I picked up the 2 tubs, another shopper came down the isle and said to her DH (or some guy with her), so-and-so wants this for his birthday and I have not ordered it as of yet - she then proceeded to buy all the rest of it which was about 10 tubs . She did leave a few white Floams behind. Personally I wouldn't spend $70.00 on it, but to each his/her own.

Anyhow, the tubs were definitely not dried out and my kids (7 and 4) had a blast playing with it. When I opened the first tub and took a whiff, the smell reminded me of that slime that used to be sold in a plastic trash can when I was a kid. There was green slime and a red color with worms in it. As a kid I thought the slime was too cool, now I don't know how thrilled I would be if it were still around and my kids wanted some.

I tried my local AC Moore and if they ever had it, they don't now. I did see a large display of it at Walmart, but the only colors they had were the pink, green and white - of the three I already bought the pink and green. I believe the price ar Walmart was pennies less than Target.

I saw it at Target yesterday! I think it was $6.99 per color.

I just saw this in Wal-mart today. It was $6.99 per tub. They seemed a bit small to me. Both of my children want this for Christmas too.

I saw it on a website that is very similar to LTD but the stuff gets shipped much faster- www.lakeside.com.

It has a couple of different Holiday Catalogs but Floam was on its own page- click on bottom left hand corner of home page.

They sell it for $15.95 a set and it comes in 4 colors- perry pink, ghoulish green, sky blue, and sunshine yellow.

I have ordered from them before and was very happy with the shipping time and the quality of the merchandise I received!!

I didn't have time to read through and see if anyone had said this, so sorry if it was... but I just saw it last week at Target. I don't know the cost but my kids were very excited to see it. Good luck
