We recently used a ground transportation company called Larry’s. They were good. The car was beautiful and immaculate. The driver was a polite gentleman & drove calmly, not aggressively, which is something I pay close attention to. We only had one small hiccup in that they billed my cc several days later, after I paid cash to the driver. I wrote to the company very upset and they apologized profusely, that it was some computer glitch. It was fully resolved less than an hour after I wrote to them, so I would use them again.

They weren’t cheap but it was a good experience.
You can also Uber but you won’t know the cost in advance and their pricing varies based on demand at the time.

We have, in the past, used Jiffy Jeff to get a party of 6 from FLL to Miami. Their vans are definitely big enough for 10.

I know that does not matter to many people any more, but I am looking to get from FLL to a Miami hotel night before the cruise and want to minimize chances of an exposure that could lead to a positive test at the port or coming down with symptoms on the ship.

Yes, and properly worn, the entire time. I work in a hospital and have an elderly father. I wouldn't have gotten in the vehicle otherwise.
Also our non-English speaking Uber driver also wore a mask.

Thank you! I appreciate the reply. We had some iffy uber/lyft experiences in orlando last year so that had made me nervous about booking a car for a 45 min drive.

What makes me nervous usually is how some people drive. I can't take it when drivers speed and/or tailgate. Like, I literally want to get out and walk. lol
Our driver from Larry's drove calmly and at no point did I fear for my life. I've been in taxis where I did fear for my life and once even with Happy Limo going to PC. Our driver caught up to the car in front of us so quickly, I thought we were going to ram from behind. I screamed and the driver's hands were moving reeeeally slowly. I don't know if he had some medical condition or if he was taking drugs but it was bad enough that I wrote a letter when we got home and haven't used them since. It's a shame because we used them so many times and all were great experiences until that last one but I just couldn't do it again.

I’m just like you! Drives my husband nuts when I drive because I won’t go one mile over the speed limit and he thinks I am the slowest driver in the world. Good to know about Larry’s—I will ask them for a quote
