Flirting our Way through WDW 1 person at a time(New -2)Final Chapter

I lOVE the pictures of Parker with the characters.....very cute! He seemed to do very well with them! :goodvibes

parker meeting stitch is hysterical!!! he's looking at him like, "just WHAT EXACTLY are you????" :rotfl: so cute!

How cute is Parker meeting his first characters? A-dor-able!!!!!!
Didn't you love Toy Story?????? We only got to ride it once in California but I loved it!!!!!!!!!
:woohoo: for getting to go back to Disney a few months earlier than you thought. :woohoo:
we loved it, the review of it is coming up in the next chapter, i took some pics inside of it.

I love the first pic of Parker with Stitch. He's probably thinking "Why hello there? What the heck are you?" Too cute! Did you love TTM? We LOVED it!
it is like he is staring at him for stealing his bottle.
Parker is such a good baby!!!:thumbsup2 It's nice that you're acclimating him early to see the big characters...hopefully it'll stay that way.

All those pictures with the characters and Parker are really priceless.
yep he liked them all, some that he had never seen before he was not sure about, but the ones he watches on tv he reallyliked.

I love the look on Parker's face when he looks at the characters. Great report. We have always put the kids first when it comes to spending time with the characters. That is time you never get again and it is so precious.
we will always put him first, i could care less about going on stuff if he is happy, glad u do the same

love the pictures!!!!
thank alot.
:)
I just love Parker, I want to reach through my screen and smother him in kisses, such a cutie!
:lmao: he likes kisses, and people making a fuss over him...maybe some year our trips will over lap and you can meet him.

yephe did, he was a trooper

parker meeting stitch is hysterical!!! he's looking at him like, "just WHAT EXACTLY are you????" :rotfl: so cute!

we always wonder what is going through his head when does stuff or sees things for the first time.

ok...I may have to stop reading your report. Its making me want to go now with Caleb...but I know DH will never go for it quite yet. But somehow I will get through it and continue to read your report. Just don't make it soo good that I want to go to WDW now!!! :rotfl2: Wait...everything makes me want to go to wdw now...:rotfl:

I am getting soo excited about the possibility of camping at Fort Wilderness on our next Disney Trip. I get to go on a Disney trip for my son's first visit and DH will like it because we will spend half of what we did on our trip in Sept 07 (1 week at boardwalk during free dining) and get to stay at least 2 weeks at the fort...it really is just a bonus for me and a no brainer. Especially during slow seasons and it all works out. I am starting the Disney math now!

I am liking your parents idea about Chef Mickeys as that go there to see characters INCASE you miss them in the parks...then you know you got it covered either way. Plus you are in WDW...seeing the same character more than once makes your trip that much more worth it.

Characters inside suits probably are not allowed to hold kids due to they can't properly hold them...probably a liability issue I would guess. BUt good to know.

Hey Dan...too bad you coudnt get any Chip an Dale stealing Parker pics....since they couldnt hold him....lol

aw parke rlooks so cute in his little hat! glad you got to see some characters!
thanks, we got that last year befor ehe was born on clearance at the disney store for like 2 dollars.

sorry it makes you want to go back, and hopefully it will make your next trip come that much sooner.

also check into joining AAA we did that and saved 20% on this last trip, and the guy toldme that if you get it far enough in advance you can get the 20% off at FW as well, with rates in the off season starting at like 40 something dollars, that is in the 30 dollar range a night, not to shabby an the camp ground is so peaceful and fun for kids and grown ups.

we are planning on doing chef mickeys when we go back and i am going to takehim to see them in the parks, i think you get more personal attention in some of the character meet and greets in the parks.

if you want any more info on FW let me know, we have stayed there i think about 7 times or so growing up.

Hey Dan...too bad you coudnt get any Chip an Dale stealing Parker pics....since they couldnt hold him....lol

i know thta would have been funny if it happened again this year, maybe next time we go down.

yeah i will do that when we get ready to go. Might give me a reason to get AAA again. I dropped it because my dad had me in the highest category and I was not using it at all and paying a lot for it. so since they stopped paying for it when I got out of college..I dropped it. Plus whenever we would go somewhere we pretty much got the same price on the internet anyways and would book our own trips anyways. And our AAA office in my town closed a couple of years ago.

You booked your trip through WDW and just told them you had AAA (and then probably had to show it at check in I would guess) instead of booking through an agent...didn't you?? i think that would be easiest. I booked my trip last time through Magical Journeys and I might do it again because they look at all the new codes and apply it to your current reservation if possible that way you don;t have to keep up on it. She had told me before that she could book Fort Wilderness also.

I love how wide-eyed and smilie Parker is at everything! You can tell he's loving every minute of his first trip to Disney!

what a great start to your day at MGM. Parker looks SO cute in his little winter hat. and you guys got really lucky that he doesn't get scared by the characters too, when I was little i was petrified haha

good to hear that you get a few less months to wait for your return.

can't wait for the video of parker with mickey.

yeah the lady asked if she could book it for us, and i said nothanks, i would do it myself, it cost like 40 something i think for the 2 years, or right around there, and we are going to us it when we go up to michigan again this year...so it worked out good for us.

yep i just told them i had AAA, and gave them the number, they never asked for it at check in though.

thanks, it was great seeing it in person, i will have some videos coming up in the next few chapters i did not take a ton with my digital until about half way through this day, most of them were on my video camera.

Chapter 6. Parker is in a state of SHOCK!!!

Well last time i left you we were about to enter the building for Toy Story.

This line is awesome, i did not mind having to wait in it, and glad we did not wait till our fast pass time. Parker loved looking around at all of the big oversized things they had on display.

and i have to admit so did we.
:thumbsup2

I will let the pictures do the talking, i know that most of you have seen some of these before, but they are really neat, and there are some that have not so here you go.

that was the first area that you waited in then you went over by the tinkertoy stuff.
DSC06751.jpg

DSC06752.jpg

i so could have cashed that reward in

parker just loved the potato head, he could not stop looking at it,
DSC06754.jpg

it was about a 40 minute wait to get to the loading area...but it went really fast.

when we were going over the ride, here is a picture to the left
DSC06757.jpg

and one to the right.

DSC06755.jpg

when we got our glasses, parker played with the foreign family behind us and was making them laugh up a storm.

We were going to use the fast pass to ride again after we got off and take turns holding parker, well, he had to sit stradling my leg and under the safetly bar, well it is an okay ride for little ones, but it does turn kinda fast when you are going in between the screens to shoot, and i held onto him tight and braced his head, i did not want it whipping around, he was fine when we were stopped in front of the screens to play and wouldjust sit on my lap and stair, so i started to play some at the first screen, then i realized he was fine so i played some more.

i had my right arm around him triggering the popper and the left one holding the aim of the gun.

with about to stops left, parker was not liking the fast turning so much, so i had to comfort him some, but still ended up with a decent score, i will beat it next time.

DSC06760.jpg

once we got off we decided to not ride again because parker was kinda scared at the end, and we were happy we rode it once.

next we changed him and made our way over to playhouse disney we were cutting it close but we hoped that we could make it in time for the next show, as we walked up they were letting a few people in, and the lady said just a second let me see if htere is still room, so she said yep i have room for 3 more, well as we walked in the one lady said these seats right here, we said thanks, and sat down, we were on the back row of the far left side, well i saw a huge open area in the back row of the middle right along the isle, so i picked up parker wand walked over there.

candi says you cant do that,i said sure i can, lets go it is more in the center and on the isle...so we moved over to the middle and parker was getting a little antsy, i think he was getting hungry, but then the music started and this is the expression that did not leave his face.

DSC06762.jpg

this is what he was looking at.
DSC06763.jpg

DSC06764.jpg

DSC06765.jpg

this was his expression for the rest of the show, he did not really care to much for the other acts, but loved the mickey mouse club house...he still watched the other ones, just not with the same wow factor.

DSC06768.jpg

DSC06771.jpg

and climbing up into candis lap to give her a big hug and thank her for taking him to disney world.

DSC06772.jpg

the expressions that he had on his face for this show, made the whole trip worth it, i will never forget that face, and will keep us taking our children back to disney world for many many more years to come.

i have to stop here, because next up we see donald in front of the pin trading hat at MGM and i dont have photos of that but they are on the photopass CD that punkin413 mailed out a few days ago, so i should have that i am thinking tomorrow so i can do the next chapter.

thanks for reading along, now lets see, here is the next trivia question for you to be entertained until the next chapter.

well it is not a tough one but it is the next trivia question on the disney transportation trading cards, so it is the next question

Q: who was the voice of the Woody in Toy Story

I know that was easy, but i will have some facts for you when i post the results card.

I just love that face Parker made!! I know what you mean by that one face making the whole trip. That happened with our DD when she saw Cindy's mice at CRT. Her face was priceless and made the entire trip for us!

Really enjoying your TR and seeing all the cute pictures of Parker.

Oh my goodness! Parker's face is priceless! TSM looks great. I'll definitely be getting on it the next time around!
