Been gone a couple of days, but I'm caught up now. I love the video of Parker smiling with your wife. Too cute! Isn't it amazing how kids can just fall asleep ANYWHERE??!! Was it cold?

ahhhh.....memories of my dad getting off a water slide with a wedgie are flooding back and making me very, very sick.
we used to go to wet-n-wild every time we'd come to orlando (back before disney had water parks) and dad would ALWAYS have a wedgie after he'd get off the slides. i don't know why and i don't want to think about it. thanks for bringing back those good memories. and sorry if the mental picture is scaring you!

we actually just went to a water park in nashville this summer and my dad and brother were racing down one of those racer slides you were talking about. they had rubber things at the end of them that would stop the morons who didn't pull up on their mat. guess who ended up running all up in it? my dad! he's such a dork.



he's like, "um....i think we're done here."

if he was not wearing a speedo he might not have had such a wedgie, haha.

Blizzard Beach looks like a lot of fun! We have never been there, but I might need to put it on the to do list. Parker is such a good baby! He seems like he goes with the flow. Clearance at Disney! That makes me excited just thinking about it!

the water parks are awesome, you will love BB.
they had some ohter clearance stuff, but nothing we needed.
and he does just kinda go with the flow, he does whatever.

Sounds like the CM's were really nice and that is great. I love Parkers smile that he gets. And the picture of him asleep is so adorable. That's one to show him when he gets older.

Parker is just too darn cute! The sleeping picture cracked me up! Believe it or not I have never been to a WDW water park.

welcome back, i know i was suprised at how many times he would just fall asleep and in the weirdess spots.

Another great update! It is so funny how they'll fall asleep in the funniest places/positions. We think it's so funny when Maddie does stuff like that because she often doesn't want to go to sleep. Looks like he had a great time in the water! I'm hoping we get some days warm enough to swim when we're there in Dec.

it was very very empty, and the weather was nice, we were not cold swimming at all.
yep except when i asked candi to carry me so i could fall asleep she did not go along with it.

welike them both alot, for different reasons, the water coaster at TL is awesome but some of the other slides are better at BB.
go to both that will solve everything.

i love that stuff, little ones are so funny when they do that kind of thing, and it is hard to get upset at them, you just have to smile and give em a hug.

if you do go, go when they open they are not crowded at all, and if you want you can ride almost everything in the first few hours then just take it easy.

I bought those same PJ's for DD when she was a baby. They have Dumbo on them right? I love Dumbo so she had to get them, she also has the pink ones from the Disney store with Marie on them.

The last time we went to BB, the boys were 5 and almost 3 and they loved it. I hope it's warm enough when we go back this November, because I'm sure they will love the slides now. Great pics of AKL.

Chapter 15. Playing in our resort pool.

After feeding parker and changing him back into his swim diaper, w ewere ready to hit the hotel pool.
It was a beautiful day, and here is the lake in themiddle of the resort.

Parker and me walking ahead of picture taking momma.

As we are walking up we notice the beer stand is open and so is the food area, so it is time for a beer and some nachos.

Here is the pool from over by the food and bar area.

and from the other side where we sat.

we ate up hte nachos and drank the beer before swimming, while parker sat in my lap and played with his boat that i got him.

Candi and i each went down the slide and the other held parker, then she played with him in the pool while i went and took some more pictures.

We wanted to take him in the kiddie area but there was older kids splashing and playing like crazy in there so we did not do that.
what is it with kids that are old enough to be in the normal pool going crazy in baby pools, he was fine he liked playing with mommy and daddy in the big pool

He really liked it in there and wanted off her lap to sit like a big boy and splash his own.

i took the cameras back and we played around for a while, going under some of the things that have water coming down on top of you. parker loved to watch us come down the slide and make funny faces and go under water.

When we were done we gathered our things and headed back to the room to feed parker and let him take another short nap, since he already took one earlier in the day. we ended up leaving our room about 4:30 to go to DTD for dinner and shopping.

We talked with a man and his wife and son at the bus stop, they had went to MK that day and had gotten there face painted it looked pretty cool. parker flirted with the lady alot making faces and smiling and her. i think he really liked her face paint.
They were really nice and we chatted them up until our bus came, then on the DTD bus we sat next to a lady and her littly boy on her lap and flirted away with her as well. She played peek a boo with him, she even started to say daddaddadada to him to try and get her to say it back, and we did not even tell her that is the first words he was saying at that time, he just kidda looked at her when she did that.

A short while later we were pulling in

We then saw our destination.

We looked over the menu and finally found something we wanted, there were many that looked really good, but we picked the hawain sandwich for candi, and i chose the caribean Jerk chicken sandwich. Candi went outside to get a table and i waited for our order to come up. While i was paying i asked the lady how much the chips were and she told me and i said well tag 2 onto the order please. i gave her the Gift card and took my chips and my order number. While i was waiting for my order i was trying to figure out the total that she took off my gift card and it was not adding right in my head, well she never charged me for the chips, DISNEY MAGIC, i won a dream.
We ate our dinner outside and people watched. then went over to the pin traders and picked out some pins, along with the 1$ pin for spending a certain amount. Then went outside to look at the pins that the traders had on the swapping board.

There was one kid i wanted to punch in the face out there, i was looking at his pins and he says let me see what you have to offer, so i show him the pins we had and he says no im not interested in any of those. and asks me if was from down there, i say no, and he says well this is how it works down here, if i want any of his pins, then he will tell me what pin he wants inside the store and i have to go and buy it for him then give it to him for one of his, i said yah okay cowboy, i'll get right on that one, and we left.
what a ding dong, it is all fun chief, he was taking it way to serious.

we then went past santa who had a really long line at this time and into the WOD store.

we looked through the whole store and saw some things we wanted but picked them up other places during the week, we did get some post cards, and some chip and dale nut mixes. while i was checking out, candi went to take parker to the santa line. it went reallyfast, she had to let a few people in front of her because i was still inside waiting to check out, the lady was so slow wrapping, i could have made the paper that she was using to wrap it faster.

It was now time for santa clause.

he was doing really good until, we let go of him and he looked back to see who had him,

he was looking up at him and thinking your not my dad or mom,

and his eyes in this picture are saying, your not leaving me with this guy are you.

we wanted to see him here, because we were not sure we would have time to see santa in MK.

After we left him, we saw the singers by the tree.

they were pretty good, but we only caught the end of there act.

parker enjoyed them

we went into the once upon a toy, let parker pick out some toys, he loved the mickey stacker toy, so i got that for him, and some other small stuff.

then it was time to go by the pooh statues.

we love this under 10 dollar store, they have some really neat stuff in there, we showed parker a kickball with a mickey face on it, and he went nuts, i mean absolutely nuts, he was shacking and making high pitched squel noises, we were laughing so hard, then i held up a smaller soccer ball with the same logo, he did the same thing, i would hold them both up, and he would stare at one and shack and yell, then look at the other and do the same thing, we knew we had to get one for him, we chose the soccer ball because it was smaller and easier for him to hold onto.

then it was time for goofys candy shop to get candi s slushes, he picked out the goofy statue and i think got the blue rasberry, then the christmas store to get an ornament.
we got our 2008 ornament, and it was getting late so it was time to take parker home for bed, we had a family take this for us.

a bus came rather quick, and we were at the pepper marker area pretty fast to fill up our mugs and head back to the room and get ready for our MK day.

Day 3 highlights.
1. Parkers full belly laying on the bed,
2. Seeing AKL for the first time
3. Playing in the kiddy area.
4. When parker fell asleep and just fell over in candis arms.
5. Playing in the pool at our hotel.
6. having our first ever sandwiches at Earl
7. Having a fun relaxed day in disney world.
