Flipping Serta mattress

We bought a new Serta mattress set about 6 years ago. At the time the dealer said we didn't need to flip it over, just rotate it. Well we've done that but our indentations ate getting uncomfortable. Do we start flipping it over anyway?

Not all mattresses can be flipped anymore due to different construction. The old style ones used to be identical on both sides, but many of the newer ones are only built for one side to lay on. You can take a look at yours and if it is a style that can be flipped, go for it!

I know our 3 year old mattress cannot be flipped, only rotated. We rotate every 2 months. It has 8 fabric handles on it so it only takes us a minute to do.
