Flippin' ".bin file missing" computer problem

I swear my run in with Best Buy cursed me......anyway....

I have AVG antivirus. It would not update today because my computer says a ".bin file is missing". I have not deleted anything from my computer, so I am quite confused about this. I tried to re-install AVG (successfully) but that did not correct my problem.....it still says ".bin file missing".

I just don't know what to do?


Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You can't fix it AVG submitted a corrupted update, and it's just a matter of waiting for them to submit a new update

Me too. I had the same problem. I noticed it right after I had just downloaded a program, so it really freaked me out!

It must be fixed because I just did an update and it went thru just fine. I was getting the same error message last night.

I run AVG Free as well but haven't noticed this error on my computer. I'll have to check and make sure everything is ok.
