Flip flops on FJ??

Will I lose my flip flops on FJ?
Do they have a mesh pocket or something to stash your shoes?
Should I sit on them, is there time to do that during the loading process?

I'm sure there are ppl out there who have ridden this ride more than me, but I don't remember anywhere to put your shoes like of some of the other rides. I wore mine until the ride started and then slipped them off and kind of put my hands through the thong part so that they were on my wrists... if that makes any sense??? I'm sure it would be easier to sit on them but I was afraid to take them off until the ride had started as my children got in trouble for that once on DD (or what used to be DD, can't remember if the named changed since WWoHP)... by then I wasn't sure if I could get them under me...

I actually wore them my very first time on the ride and even though I didn't lose them, I felt like they were going to fly off at any second!!! I was gripping them pretty hard with my toes!

You can sit on them. That's what I do if I'm wearing loose shoes.

Went on it this am...my dd put hers next her but then we learned later on to have her sit on them!

On one of our rides, the guy next to me just held his flipflops in his hands the whole time.

I just take them off when I'm waiting for our magical bench to arrive, then I set them on the seat and I sit down on them. I know there are plenty of people who ride with flip flops, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I already lost my flip flop on E.T. and they didn't find it, so I don't want a repeat experience!

During my August 2010 trip I rode FJ multiple times. I wore flip flops every time, but the third time I rode it the lady next to me accidentally kicked my heel and my flip flop went flying. After that I've just slipped them off just before stepping onto the moving area and sat on them.
