If you wear flip flops, what do you do with them on FJ and other floorless rides? We're planning to avoid lockers and go bagless, but even if we had a bag, I can't iagine peolpe walk thru the que barefoot! At most parks I 3ake them off and hole them in my hands, but all the talk about fanny packs and cameras has me worried that would be a problem. Surely I can't be the only person that prefers flip flops?!

I don't know what most people do, but when we were on dragon challenge, one person took her flip flops off and sat on them. Personally, I wouldn't risk it and I would wear other shoes even though I do prefer flip flops also.

I know on bilge rat barges and ripsaw falls, they had a very strict "shoes must be worn" rule. However, a lot of visitors went against the rule and as soon as they were out of sight of the cast members, most were taking their shoes off and stowing them in waterproof bags or in the center console of the raft. I know this isn't allowed, and there is probably some reasoning behind it, but I can understand people not wanting to walk around in wet sneakers all day.

on FJ I took them off after we boarded and held onto them...tight!

My DD and I both prefer flip flops and they are great for the water rides. Denim capris...not so much.

I wear flip flops all the time. Just sit on them or hold on to them. They wont say anything to you.

All I ever wear in the parks are flip flops. I just sit on them. I know the CMs see because for FJ I take them off as soon as they pair the groups up, so have them in my hand before I ever get to the moving walkway. I put them back on just before going down the stairs at the exit.

The first time I rode FJ I made the mistake of keeping them on and just clinched my toes. I wouldn't have had a problem, except the lady sitting next to me accidentally kicked the back of my foot, somehow hitting the back edge of the flip flop and kicking it off.:rotfl:

First time I rode it I clenched my toes and worried about losing them , the subsequent rides I took them off and held them after I got on the ride.

I wore flip flops to the park once, my feet hurt SO bad by the end of the day, I swore I'd never wear them again at a park! That being said, first time I was on FJ there was an Adidas flip flop at the end of the moving walkway, just stuck on the lip where the walkway ends. Felt bad for whoever lost their shoe!

I can't wear the cheapo flip flops, but absolutely love my OluKai Ohana, Sketcher Tone Ups, Fit Flops, Orthoheels, or Montrail Molokinis. They cost alot more, but are soooo worth it for the comfort and arch support they provide. Personally I can't wear tennis shoes and socks down there--just too hot and no matter how broken in they are, they just seem to give me blisters (especially if they get wet). I live in flip flops almost year around though. I guess it's what your feet are used to.

I wear my Nike athletic flip-flops everywhere in the parks. They are so much more comfortable that my tennis shoes. The first time I rode FJ, I clenched my toes tightly. I forgot to take them off the next time and had to do the same. I finally remembered the 3rd time, and I took them off right after sitting down and just held them. DD and others, the cm suggest you sit on them. I did, and had no problems at all.

Those sound awesome.. I wear flip flops all the time at home (when the weather allows), they are just so convenient.. I think I'm going to check out the ones you mentioned :)
