I do a lot of mailing (Ebay) and occasionally I've had priority Mail take up to a month and Parcel Post they usually say needs 4 - 6 weeks before they will attempt to locate, even if it's insured. I wouldn't give up hope just yet!

Roxy, you by chance didn't fly up to NY and use Kayla's post office did you? When ever she uses her little local post office she almost always has to resend her packages. As a matter of fact she used them this last time, and had to resend her packages.

This is so nuts. We have a rinky dink post office here too, I guess I have been lucky so far. Is there no recourse against them when they repeatedly lose your packages?

In any case, I am sorry to hear about so many having to resend packages. Although like Roxy said, shopping is fun....

Nop! If we do insure the boxes or packages, too bad.

The weather here is nasty, so not going out right now, maybe later.

Beth I don't know what can be done. I know Kayla said that there have been plenty of complaints and she said that that post office will be closing down soon.

For them to do anything....they must have DC....and better to have insurance.
I have had plenty of late ones.....some go all the way across the country from where they were headed, but they have all shown up.
I also live in a little town with a very small PO, but I love my people

Kayla's is being redone.....new equipment and new staff (I think staff is where the problem is often).

I know they don't always scan the DC packages like they should which makes it hard to track them all the way.

I would expect a package to be lost now and then, but 2 or 3 from the same person seems a bit suspicious, especailly with them going to different parts of the country. I think it has to be the fault of the originating PO.

But this is turning out to be a good lesson in patience for my DD.
And when she found out what is going on she said to me, "I feel sorry for Shawny's mom. She has to do all that shopping all over again."
So maybe a lesson in patience and compassion. hmmm.

I went to my local PO again, and I spoke to the manager or whatever, he called the PO in Gainesville GA ( the main one for my county) then the Atlanta PO, then the PO in FL, NM, and MI. After a looooongggggg argument, hold on, etc etc. The told him that the packages were delivered


Any news guys?

I think we have some good news!!

I don't have the actual package with me BUT DH called me earlier and said one had been delivered!!! I won't be able to look through it until later tonite but we did get one. YAY!!

So did they ever figure out what happened??

Well, nop! They blame each other, my local blame the county one, then they blame Atlanta and so on!
They told me, why you didn't used conf # or insurance, well I do it all the time and no problem, so I didn't think it was necessary but

Oh they did apologized to me but sometimes you have to get ugly to get help, and trust me, when I get mad whatch out!! My Mexican evil comes out
