I am trying to find cheap flights from Paris to NYC to London one way for September 12. The cheapest that I can find is $400 each one way. This is the first time I am going so I am not sure if there are ways to get it cheaper. We are from New Brunswick Canada but from there or Halifax it is $1200 per person so for the price difference we can catch a quick flight to NYC for $150 round trip. Does anyone know of any cheaper options?

I am a bit confused! Can you not fly direct to Paris from NewYork, do you need to have a stopover in London because you are visiting there?

(There are various ways to get between Paris and London, the easiest being the Eurostar train which leaves from Disneyland Paris. Or there are cheap flight providers like Ryan Air or Easyjet.)

It looks like most 'cheap' flights are around the £350 - £450 mark, not sure waht that is in USD, and not sure of your dates.

But I'm not sure if I've understood your question right!

sorry I copy and pasted this from the UK thread. The "to london" shouldn't be in there lol. I was also trying to find cheap flights from NYC to London. This one was for Paris to NYC cause we are flying to London then going to Paris and flying back to NYC from there.

Have you already booked a one way flight from New York to London? Assuming flights from the US to Europe work the same way as they do for us flying over there, then the cheapest way to book is likely to be an open-jaw flight i.e. New York to London on the way out and Paris to New York on the way home, with both flights booked on the same ticket & with the same airline (or group). One way flights are usually a much more expensive way to book.

Sounds like an open jaw. I did a Chicago O'Hare to London Heathrow, went to Paris via Eurostar train, and then flew back from Paris De Gaulle back to Chicago. Just choose "multi city" in your favorite flight aggregator. :thumbsup2

Not sure how cheap the flights will be, but that's how I'd start looking.

Definitely look at Open Jaw as others have mentioned. Also look at the discount carriers (Icelandair, Air Berlin, and Aer Lingus) as they do not penalize you for one-way tickets. They likely are cheaper than the major carriers, although you'll likely have a stopover somewhere.

As an added bonus, Icelandair allows you to extend your stopover in Iceland for up to a week without penalty. They also fly from Halifax.

Good Luck.

When we were initially planning, we were going from Minneapolis to London to Paris. We've since changed to fly RT to London, but the prices were pretty much the same. The cheapest we found was $800 with a stop in Philly (which we booked) Nonstops were around $1000 and up. It gets more expensive during summer time.

We're going to London, taking Eurostar to Paris and back to London, so that's why we opted to fly RT to London.

No I don't have any flights booked as of yet. We would be flying from NYC-London taking Eurostar to Paris then flying back to NYC from Paris. I always book my flights for things one way. Normally they have been around here as I always find the prices for one day are often better at different times. I usually watch them and grab one way when it is less and we have always saved money by doing this. I will have to try pricing round trip with multiple stops too it may be different for Europe.
From the sounds of your flights mndisneygirl it sounds like $800 RT is the cheapest I am going to find.

Or book r/t into either Paris or London and then get yourself to PRis from !onion or from Lomdon t Paris on your own either using a low cost air carrier or Eurostar.
