does anybody have any idea what a reasonable price for these would be ?

thanks in advance :goodvibes

Have a look at jetblue.com
They tend to have reasonable prices :)

Jet Blue do a service for about £100 return depending on dates.
Any idea of dates you want?

You just beat me :rotfl:

Spirit Airlines also go from LaGuardia to Orlando MCO; and I think AirTran do also.

Interested in this as just back in March from 5th trip to NYC and wondering if I can tack on an extra day at the end of our trip next year :lmao:

We're flying with Delta from Boston to Orlando but they fly from NY aswell, as do Jetblue and Continental.

As you have so long just keep checking and watching for sales, I am registered with Travelzoo, they are always letting me know when airfare sales are on from Florida http://airfare.travelzoo.com/north-american-airfare/
We stopped off in NYC for 4 nights on way to Florida a few years back, was cheaper to do that than direct to Florida and get an internal flight.
Just been checking a few dates and sometimes Delta were cheaper than Jet Blue.
Look at Kayak.co.uk and Orbitz.com give you an idea of cost.

Quite fancy doing something like that myself next August. It was 2002 when we visited NYC and we all want to go again but the hotel prices put me off everytime I look, last time it cost me £600 for 4 nights at Crowne plaza then paid less for the following 21 nights in Orlando.
We have friends in North Carolina so we would break the journey there.

I agree hotel prices are very expensive, we are hoping to use priority club points to pay for our hotel stay in NY as hubby stays away at least 2 nights everweek with his job, so they mount up quite quickly and come in quite handy :goodvibes

Virgin just quoted this up for me this morning as we're doing it next year. Its £110 from NY to Orlando with Delta, per person, currently.

We did this a few years ago, we flew Continental and I can't remember the exact price, but I believe we only paid about £60 for a ticket. I think I am right in saying we booked through Lastminute.com. Good luck!

Hi there

We just got back last Friday, still not come to terms with being home after almost 4 weeks in the US. And on top of that we have bloody well sold Alonso to Real Madrid.

Anyways up, we had 4 nights in New York first flew from Heathrow to JFK. The four nights at The Afinia Shelburne, in Lexington Avenue, for 5 of us in a 2 room mini suite was £535.00 inc tax with expedia.

We flew from Newark to Orlando with Continental on 9th, 2 and a bit hour flight and for the five of us it was £335.00 inc all taxes etc. Mind you we did get to Orlando around half six in the evening, to get there earlier (which is a bit of a waste as you cant get into the room anyway till 3 ish, plus the fact NY is so awesome you will want as much time there as possible, (breathe Steve!)). To arrive in Orlando mid afternoon it was going up another £200 for all of us, didnt really seem worth it just for another 2 hours.

Anyway, have a fab time NY was an absolute dream and we are all so bloody fed up back here!

Steve
