Flights for October

Took the plunge today - after monitoring flight prices via Kayak have purchased my 4 tickets to get us there for October half-term again (we have done that time in 2007 and 2009)

£2400 to go direct into Miami with AA - last year it cost more like £1800. BOO!! AA to Miami still seems like the best option if you want to go direct.

Will now forget worrying about that and get on with the rest of the planning!

Flight prices seem to be going only one way at the moment, and I can't see that changing. Oct half term also seems to have gotten more popular the last couple of years so it isn't as easy as it was. At least you have booked it now.

We go on Friday 22nd October for 2 weeks - managed to get our flights for just over £2000 (we are 3 adults & 1 child) LGW to MCO direct.

That was with BA and is their original price when they first went on sale - I have often checked - but never seen the prices drop below that - they just seem to be going up and up.

Sometimes better to take the plunge and get them booked and avoid the stress!

I got flights on sunday using my miles plus money going on the 27th October for £415 with virgin direct lgw to mco I was more then happy with that as I thought I would not beable to go this year as everytime I looked the price where crazy . I think I just happned to look at the right time on sunday and luck was on my side , you never know when good price flights pop up .
