Flights for next summer

Hi, can somebody give me some davice please.

Ive been to the florida ten times, however this is the first time ive planned a trip myself.

Im looking to go next july. The best flight price i can find for dates that suit for fly drive is roughly £550 flying from manchester. Is there any liklihood of me finding anything cheaper, or even anything the same price flying from glasgow (which would be much more preferable since its only 20mins away rather than 5 hours).

That isn't too bad a price for July as this is main holiday season. We are trying Flyglobespan next year - which as I am sure you will read have various reports - mainly negative but hey at £1500 for all 4 of us and the luxury of going direct from Belfast who - cares we will be well prepared

Have you tried the charter flights direct from Glasgow or is it a scheduled flight you are after - you have so many more options across on the mainland

Is the £550 incl car and insurance? if it is its probably not a bad price. Is it direct?
Its too early to book scheduled flight only as they don't release the seats until 11 months before your return flight,
What dates in July? earlier in the month I would expect lower prices, later in July and school holidays then prices will rise.
I would be tempted with FlyGlobeSpan there prices take some beating, but they have their faults.

Schools in Scotland are like here in Northern Ireland - the kids get off school at the end of June so prices there will be high for the whole of July! There may be something cheaper if going from an English airport prior to the English school hols though.

Well it was the second fortnight in July i was looking at, as i'm due to graduate next summer, but only know it will be within the first fortnight in July not a specific date. The 550 does include car hire, and insurance, but only because thats split between 6 people.

i was actually looking at june instead now. I didn't really want to go before graduation, but it so much cheaper to go then. Can get flights, car hire, insurance and a villa for 550, flying from Manchester. The cheapest flight i can find from glasgow is 523, and thats before any car hire and accommodation is included.
